I helped establish a Village Outreach Program to connect more to residents and help our community feel more connected to Village government.

Along with the Sustainability Committee, I have helped to foster a reduced price for the past 2 years for Oregon residents to obtain residential food composting through Green Box.

After writing and receiving a $5000 grant for the Village, I helped plan a tree planting or Jaycee Community Park in April of 2025.

After finding a UW Madison Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture Capstone Program, we engaged a student to study and provide recommendations for the future of the Conservation Parks area. This saved the village thousands of dollars!

During a two part event, I helped engage local childcare providers as well as parents and caregivers to understand the challenges around childcare in our area and how we can support all who rely on this crucial service.

For the past two years, I have helped bring families to Village Hall by planning and implementing a Trunk or Treat event. This allows Village Board trustees to meet families and local businesses to connect to the community in a unique way!

In partnership with the Sustainability Committee and Oregon Cares, the Village offered residents and specifically seniors to donate their unused medications safely during a take back session held at the Oregon Senior Center in Winter of 2025.

After applying for and receiving free plants through Plant Dane, we installed a rain garden at the Oregon Youth Center to serve as an example for residents and youth that may be interested in installing a similar garden in their own spaces.

In order to encourage more families to feel welcome in Village Hall and especially during meetings, we have installed a busy bag tower in the Board room with coloring books, toys, and books for kids to enjoy while parents or caregivers engage in local government discussions.
